GIS Cyanobacteria Scientific Day (face-to-face and distance learning) - 20 May 2025 (Bordeaux)

The Groupement d’Intérêt Scientifique (GIS) Cyanobactéries is organising a scientific day on 20 May 2025 in Bordeaux on the theme "Where do we stand with benthic cyanobacteria? The day, which will be held in person and via distance learning, will provide an opportunity for scientific and operational exchanges through oral presentations and social events. Some of these presentations will be given by researchers, while others will be given by the managers themselves on their issues and feedback, encouraging discussion and the emergence of expectations that can be translated into future areas of research.

This scientific day is aimed at the the community of managers and elected representatives confronted with the problem of benthic cyanobacteria in rivers and lakes. It is also aimed at the community of French-speaking scientists working on cyanobacteria and/or their toxins.
