Registration for the second edition of the “General Limnology” training course is now open until October 2, 2026. This training course, provided by the ECLA R&D Center (OFB-INRAE-USMB), will take place in Thonon-les-Bains (France) from November 16 to 20, 2026.
This training course provides an understanding of how French water bodies function, knowledge of the main components of biodiversity, identification of anthropogenic pressures and their impacts on functioning and biodiversity, and an overview of methods for monitoring and restoring water bodies. The training combines theoretical presentations and practical applications through case studies, field sampling, and exploration of datasets.
