Project Description

Project Context :

Data management is a key issue in (1) fueling and promoting the R&D projects of the Ecla Center and its partners, (2) supporting the implementation of public policies (including the WFD) and (3) enhancing both national and international visibility of the Ecla Center.

Project Objectives :

The various actions aims to build, consolidate and share digital components to address the six steps of the data cycle (from collection to reuse). Careful attention is paid to the choice of solutions, preferably based on open-source technologies, and to compliance with existing norms and standards.

Project Results

- COCTEL: storage and control of WFD fishing data - Fish-mage: storage and management for photos of fish species - BDECLA: day-to-day administration; creation of a database on uses (PUL) - SandrOLA: bringing the OLA database into line with SANDRE standards - GeoEcla: thematic dashboards on WFD macrophyte and hydromorphological data - Fish-Net: automatic fish recognition tool using photos (prototype) - Fish-Quizz: fish learning tool using photos (prototype) - FishOLA: deployment of v5 with module for national extension
