Project Description

Project Context :

Hydroacoustics is a non-invasive method of sampling fish populations. The objective of this project is to finalize work on target counting and fish size measurement using data from an acoustic camera as part of monitoring the reproductive phenology of whitefish (Coregonus spp.). Various software programs are used.

Project Objectives :

1- Finalization of the automatic counting method and fish size measurement using acoustic cameras for the study of fish reproduction phenology. 2- Comparison test of operational tools in order to make these methods available to managers and consulting firms.
